Exit Strategy & SSD
Seller's Stamp Duty can take a meaningful bite out of an early sale, so your exit timeline should be part of the purchase decision, not something you work out after you've already bought.

Why Exit Timing Belongs In The Purchase Decision
SSD is calculated on the full sale price or market value, not just your gain, so it can erode returns significantly on an early exit even if the property has appreciated. Deciding your likely minimum holding period before you buy — rather than after market conditions change — avoids being forced into a sale that costs more in SSD than it should.
